FAQ

Short answers to big questions

Do you review loan offers I send you?

We cannot. Reviewing a specific offer would amount to advice on it, which is outside what we do. We can explain the terms in general.

What is the cheapest way to borrow?

That depends on the circumstances. Borrowing less, over the shortest term you can manage, and avoiding unnecessary charges all tend to lower the cost.

Is it wise to pay off one loan with another?

It can sometimes reduce monthly payments, but it may increase the total cost. Add up all charges, including those for closing the old loan, before deciding.

What are my rights if a lender acts unfairly?

These vary by country, but most have rules on advertising, affordability checks and fair treatment. Your national consumer authority can tell you how they apply.

How long should I take to decide?

As long as you need. A lender that insists on an immediate answer is giving you a reason to be careful.

Check the inputs and conditions behind an estimate before treating it as a written offer.
